What to do next

1. You must pass a Knowledge test at a NSW Motor Registry for the correct licence class ($37 RTA Fee) NOTE: you cannot use a HR knowledge test and HR Logbook to sit an MR course)
   • You can download the Heavy Vehicle drivers’ handbook free of charge
   • You can practice the Knowledge tests free of charge
     
     
2. Pass an RTA Eyesight Test
   
   
3. At that time ask for a CBA (Competency Based Assessment) Logbook and CBA guide book. ($22 RTA Fee)
   
   
4. Contact one of our Heavy Vehicle Training Centres at Parramatta, Penrith, Kogarah, Central Coast, Wollongong & South Coast to book your course. Please have your Logbook with you when you call, as there are details within the Logbook which we require for processing your booking.
   
   
5. A deposit is required to secure and confirm your booking
   
   
6. This deposit will be deducted from your total course cost. This is non-refundable if you cancel without 72 hours notice.
   
   
7. After successfully completing the course return to your local RTA and exchange your completed Logbook for your upgraded Licence. ($22 RTA fee)
