1 – PASS THE APPROPRIATE KNOWLEDGE TEST CLASS LR, MR, OR HR
This computerised test must be booked at your local RMS and costs $48 each attempt. We recommend you practice HERE for free!
NOTE: you cannot use a HR Knowledge Test and HR Logbook to sit an MR course
2 – PASS AN RMS EYESIGHT TEST
When you successfully complete your RMS Knowledge Test, ensure the registry staff member conducts an Eyesight Test and registers your result on the RMS computer system
3 – PURCHASE YOUR HVCBA LOGBOOK & GUIDEBOOK ($29 – PAYABLE TO RMS)

Contact our office to book your course. Please have your Logbook and Driver Licence with you when you call, as there are details within the Logbook and Licence which we require for processing your booking. These details will be checked by your Assessor against the RMS database to confirm your eligibility (eyesight test recorded, correct Logbook and licence class approved) to undertake the course.
NOTE this check does not allow us to see your driver history.
A deposit of $400 is required to secure and confirm your booking, this deposit will be deducted from your total course cost. This is non-refundable if you cancel without 72 hours notice
5 – COMPLETE YOUR LICENCE TRAINING & ASSESSMENT COURSE AND RECEIVE YOUR CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCE AT OUR ARNDELL PARK LOCATION
Our truck courses are all conducted from Arndell Park in Western Sydney. The roads are more suited to heavy vehicle training and a range of experiences can be provided.
6 – TAKE CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCE TO RMS AND PAY YOUR LICENCE UPGRADE FEE ($28)
After successfully completing the licence course you will be issued with a Certificate of Competence by your Instructor/Assessor. Take this Certificate of Competence to your local RMS Motor Registry and exchange it for your upgraded Licence. ($28 RMS fee)
